A Mobile Espresso Bar in Denver: What Actually Happens on the Day

People who have never booked a coffee cart mostly want to know what the day looks like. Here it is, in order, for a two-hour booking.
An hour before: we roll in
The cart arrives about an hour before service starts. It rolls in on its own wheels, so we need a route without stairs, and it parks in a 6 by 6 foot spot with one dedicated standard outlet. That's the whole ask. No water line, no tables, no linens. The cart is self-contained.
Setup is the hour: machine up to temperature, grinder dialed in, milk cold, syrups out, menu board up. If you're putting your logo on the cart or the cups, that's done in this hour too.
Service starts
One barista runs the cart, start to finish. The menu is espresso, cortado, cappuccino, latte, americano, chai latte and hot tea, hot or iced, with whole, oat or almond milk, plus vanilla and mocha syrups and two seasonal ones. Everything is made to order.
Nobody pays or tips at the cart. The host covers it all, so guests walk up, order, and wait a minute or two. We weigh and time every shot, which is why the coffee tastes like a good shop and not like a catering urn.
How the line moves
One cart pours 30 to 40 drinks an hour. In two hours that covers about 75 guests. How long the line gets depends on whether people arrive together or spread out over the window.
If you're expecting more than 75 people in two hours, or everyone at the same moment, the answer is a second cart with its own barista, or another hour. We'll tell you which when you send the headcount.
The last drink
Service ends at the booked time and we start packing up. Teardown takes about an hour, and we handle all the cleanup, so the spot looks the way it did before we rolled in.
What it costs
$375 an hour with a two-hour minimum, so a two-hour booking is $750. Weekends add 10%. Weddings are priced separately at $500 an hour per cart. Travel is free within 50 miles of Denver. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
Where this works
Office lobbies and break rooms, store openings, backyards, driveways, church halls, school gyms, wedding venues in the city and up in the mountains. If there's an outlet and a flat way in, the cart fits.
