How Much Does a Wedding Coffee Cart Cost in Colorado?

Most coffee carts make you fill out a form to find out what a wedding costs. Ours is on the site, so here is the whole thing, worked out.
The price
Weddings are $500 an hour per cart, with a two-hour minimum. So a wedding starts at $1,000. A 20% gratuity is added on top, so nobody tips at the cart.
That number includes a custom drink menu for the day and two custom syrups we make for you. His and hers lattes are the one couples ask for most.
What's in it
- A barista who runs the cart from the first drink to the last.
- The full menu: espresso, cortado, cappuccino, latte, americano, chai latte and hot tea, hot or iced, with whole, oat or almond milk.
- Two custom syrups, plus our vanilla and mocha.
- Setup and teardown. We show up about an hour early and we handle the cleanup.
- Cups, lids, the whole kit. The venue only needs to give us a 6 by 6 foot spot and one dedicated outlet.
What's extra
- Travel past 50 miles from Denver, at $1.50 a mile.
- A second cart, at the same $500 an hour, when the crowd calls for it.
- Add-ons: a latte art printer at $50 an hour, custom cups at $1 a cup with a $150 minimum, a custom vinyl banner on the cart for $200, decaf for $60, and coffee cocktails or a hot chocolate bar, priced in your quote.
Four weddings, worked out
Denver, 80 guests, two hours. One cart covers about 75 guests in two hours, so this is right at the line and one cart works. $500 x 2 = $1,000, plus 20% gratuity, $1,200. No travel.
Boulder, 120 guests, three hours. 120 guests over three hours is about 40 an hour. One cart pours 30 to 40 drinks an hour, so one cart works if the crowd spreads out, and a second is the safer call if everyone comes for coffee at the same moment. One cart: $1,500 plus gratuity, $1,800. Boulder is inside the free 50 miles.
Estes Park, 150 guests, three hours. This is two carts: 150 guests in three hours is 50 an hour, more than one cart pours. $500 x 3 hours x 2 carts = $3,000, plus gratuity, $3,600. Estes Park is about 66 miles from Denver, so travel adds about $99.
Vail, 100 guests, two hours. One cart. $1,000 plus gratuity, $1,200, and Vail is about 100 miles out, so travel adds about $150.
When the cart runs
Couples use the cart in three different spots in the day, and the price is the same for any of them: lattes while everyone gets ready in the morning, hot espresso and cold brew as guests arrive, or espresso martinis after dinner. The two-hour minimum is per booking, so a morning slot and an evening slot are two bookings.
What moves the number
Hours, more than anything. After that, a second cart for a big crowd, travel to the mountains, and add-ons. The weekend doesn't change a wedding price. Weddings are priced for weekends already.
Getting a quote
Send us the date, the venue and a guest count and a quote comes back in 30 minutes or less. For a wedding, reach out as soon as you have a date. Two weeks out is the least we'd want.
